I am a big fan of my w211 wagon, though it has the base engine. Be prepared for a $2000 fuel tank/fuel system repair if you ever delve into the W211 waters though. It should have been a recall but DaimlerChrysler weaseled out of it. My extended warranty has covered the repairs for me so far, but the problem is still not totally fixed.

It'd be a good buy with that 6-year CarMax warranty, then!

Good to know as I've just started researching the e55's in the hopes that will be my next car... I'd love the e55 wagon but I will probably just end up with the sedan once I unload my e92 335i. I have decided to go all Doug DeMuro with my life and try as many awesome cars as possible... Just with a much lower budget than him.
And yes, if it came with a CarMax warranty that would be sweet!
